Sterility testing is often carried out on ultrahigh temperature (UHT) products. It includes a pre-incubation of 48–72 hours (duration dependent on the product, contaminants and shelf life). Following a pre-incubation, 1 mL or 5 mL of the product is inoculated into a Soleris vial. Please refer to the NF-TVC technical sheet for further information.
