How many times can lysed sample be taken from the same lysis tube?

We recommend that users do not pipette from the same lysis tube more than twice. When multiple samples are taken from the same cluster tube, the top 2/3 aqueous DNA-containing portion of the sample decreases which causes an increase in sample evaporation and an increased risk of pipetting the debris settled near the bottom of the tube. Evaporation and debris will impact the results negatively.
