The skip factor determines which data points are used by the detection algorithm. The system’s default value is one, indicating that each data point collected is utilized (six-minute intervals) by the detection algorithm. A value of two will indicate the utilization of every second point collected (12-minute intervals). A value of three will indicate the utilization of every second point collected (18-minute intervals).
